Summer Theatre Workshop

Children's Theatre to Go is offering a 3 week summer workshop for ages 8 and up focusing on many aspects of theatre including acting, playwrighting, music, movement, and much more!

Dates: June 9-27, Monday - Friday 9am to 1pm
Cost: $200 per student, all-included

Community Language School Summer Casses

BEAR CAMP IS HERE!!!! Games, songs, crafts, culture & language learning!

This summer, the UCA Community Language School will offer the first ever BEAR CAMP---a fun Spanish and/or French language camp designed for first to fourth grade children (oldest age 10 years old). The Spanish camp will be July 21-25 and the French camp, July 28-August 1st (children can take both camps, if desired) with the schedule each day starting at 8:30am and ending at 3pm.
BEAR CAMP will feature hands-on language lessons, fun international games & songs, crafts from around the world & other educational culture & language activities.
The fee for one week of camp is $100 plus $25 registration-materials/family. For both weeks, the amount will be double.

No previous language study necessary for children to enjoy BEAR CAMP.

The 15-year-old Altadena junior has lousy grades in many subjects. He has blown off assignments and been dissatisfied with many of his teachers. It would be accurate to call him a problematic student. But he is also gifted."

Arkansas Archeological Society summer program

The Arkansas Archeological Society is conducting a field excavation at the Jones Mill Site near Hot Springs, Arkansas. This year there will also be a Kids' Archaeology Program designed for ages 8-12 who are accompanied by a parent or guardian. In addition to exposure to archeological techniques, the Kids' Program will also offer handcrafts, demonstrations, and other activities for archeology-minded youngsters. The Kids' Program will run from June 15-20.
