In our discussion of the upcoming College Day sponsored by Conway AGATE one of our members mentioned the College Fairs conducted here in Arkansas by Ivy League schools. For more information about an upcoming program from Brown, Univ of Chicago, Columbia, Cornell, and Rice visit http://www.exploringeducationalexcellence.org. The other program - Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn, and Stanford - was in Arkansas a couple of weeks ago, so plan for their next visit in 2010 using this site http://www.exploringcollegeoptions.org/.

Proposed Bylaws Changes for Conway AGATE
There is a pending amendment to our bylaws which will be put to a vote at the Spring meeting in April 2010. Here is a link to the proposed changes. The rationale for the amendments is to attempt to modernize the 20 year old bylaws.
